In the following 2 cases a temperature request is possible

  • If the dfreeeze® system communicates with the parking heater via W-Bus: Please note in this case, that the temperature sensor either may be connected with the parking heater only or with the dfreeeze® sytem only. No more than one temperature sensor may be connected with a W-Bus.
  • If the dfreeeze® system communicates with the parking heater via switch output: Please not in this case, that the temperatuer sensor has to be connected with the dfreeeze® system.

Please ask your local dealer, if you are not sure, via which Bus system the receiver is connected with your parking heater.

In some cases a restriction in the display of the running time is possible.

The dfreeeze® system is connected with the parking heater via W-Bus:

  • retrofitted parkin heater: keine Einschränkungen bei der Anzeige der Restlaufzeit.
  • ex works installed parking heater: restrictions possible

The dfreeeze® is connected with the parking heater via switch in-/ouput:

  • Parking heater is controlled via app: no restrictions as long as the maximum running time is not limited by the car.
  • Parking heater is started via remote control and status is reqested via app: no display of the running time via app possilbe.

Please ask your local dealer, if you are not sure, via which Bus system the receiver is connected with your parking heater.

The operation mode adjustment (heating/ventilation/”Auto”) can be prescribed by the car. In these cases a manual adjustment is not possible.

The dfreeeze® system is connected with the parking heater via W-Bus:

  • retrofitted parking heater: operating mode adjustment is possible
  • ex works installed parking heater: depending on the car

The dfreeeze® is connected with the parking heater via switch in-/ouput:

  • no manual adjustment via app possible

Please ask your local dealer, if you are not sure, via which Bus system the receiver is connected with your parking heater.

After adding your vehicle (see point 3.3 in the user manual) in your app you should get the message “Initialization succesful software version ############” in your status display. These shows you that your dfreeeze® receiver was installed correctly and has mobile phone reception.

Please note that mobile phone reception as well as voltage supply have to be ensured for succuesful initialization.

Please initially check wether your receiver had been installed already when you counducted the initialization. You recognise a succesful initialization by the message “Initialization succesful software version ############”, which is shown in the status window.

If the receiver had been installed already and you did not get a message it could be possible that the receiver is not able to connect with the mobile phone network. In this case the vehicle should be moved on a place with better reception. Please conduct the initialization again.

You can use the dfreeeze system for an annual licence fee of 29.90 Euros.*

For each parking heater that you want to control, you need one dfreeeze mobile receiver. You can find the current price of the dfreeeze mobile receiver at www.amazon.de.
